Air Optics- Linear Type
Air Optics (TM) deliver similar collimation performance to conventional TIR secondary optics but with >90% efficiency, improved color uniformity, no tooling costs, and custom configurations to match specific LED arrangements. Compared to the traditional approach, the integration of multiple TIR lenses and holders into a single integrated sheet provides simpler more cost effective lighting products. Designed to be used when LEDs are arranged in a line.

ColorTune™ Technology provides the LED system designer with new levels of color control and spectral customization. Color output properties for a range of color inputs can be easily customized. ColorTune™ Technology is based upon precise control of our proprietary material formulations during manufacture and often includes the additional incorporation of fluorescent dies, pigments, phosphors and quantum dots. Typical results using ColorTune™ Technology for an LED downlight application include increasing efficiency by more than 20% to greater than 100lm/W and improving CRI from 80 to 95. Key color parameters such as u' v' can also be adjusted and ColorTune™ Technology also enables so called "remote phosphor" architectures.
